The questions we get asked most.
If yours is not here, call 1 (888) 966-8855 and ask. We would rather spend five minutes on the phone than have you book the wrong test.
How do I schedule an appointment?
Use the booking form on this site, or call 1 (888) 966-8855. Tell us the test type, how many people are being tested and whether the result needs to stand up in court, and we will confirm a time — often the same day.
Do you come to me, or do I come to you?
We come to you. Mobile collection at your home, office, attorney's suite or another agreed location is included in every price, and there is no travel fee anywhere inside Fulton, Gwinnett or DeKalb.
What is the difference between a personal test and a legal test?
The chain of custody. A personal test answers the question for you; a legal test additionally documents who was tested, that their identity was verified, and that the specimen was sealed and handled without interruption — which is what a court, an agency or an embassy will look for. A personal test cannot be converted into a legal one afterwards, because the documentation has to exist from the moment of collection.
How long do results take?
3–5 business days as standard, from the point the laboratory receives the specimen. Rush processing is available in 2 business days where a hearing or filing date will not move — tell us the deadline when you book.
Do you perform the laboratory analysis?
No. We perform the collection, the identity verification and the chain-of-custody documentation, and we coordinate with an AABB-accredited laboratory that performs the analysis and issues the report under its own accreditation. We are deliberately not the laboratory — the collection and the analysis being separate is part of what makes the result defensible.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Government photo ID for every adult being tested. For a child, bring a birth certificate or immunisation record along with photo ID for the adult accompanying them. If there is a court order, have a copy to hand.
Is the process confidential?
Yes. Your matter is discussed only with you and with anyone you have authorised in writing. Our collectors arrive without branding and conduct themselves neutrally.
Can you collect from someone in a correctional facility or hospital?
Often, yes — subject to the facility's own approval and scheduling. Tell us the facility at booking and we will make the arrangements with them rather than leaving it to you.
Can you test participants who are overseas?
For immigration cases, yes. The overseas participant is collected at a location arranged with the relevant embassy or panel physician, and both collections are coordinated to the same case.
Will I be sent my immigration DNA result?
No, and that is deliberate. For embassy and consulate cases the accredited laboratory sends its report directly to the receiving agency — USCIS, the National Visa Center or the consular post. A result that has passed through the applicant's or petitioner's hands is not accepted, so releasing it to you would put your case back to the start. We confirm to you that the report has gone and when, and you deal with the agency from there.
Do you do employer and DOT drug testing as well?
Yes. We perform DOT collections under 49 CFR Part 40 and non-DOT workplace testing under your own policy, on site at your premises, and we support drug free workplace programmes. Employer work is quoted rather than listed — see the Employer Testing page.
How do I pay, and when?
Payment is taken at booking. For law firms and employers with an account, we invoice monthly instead.
Do you offer appointments outside office hours?
We collect Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, and Saturday mornings 9:00am to 2:00pm. If your situation is time-critical — a post-accident collection, for instance — call us and we will tell you what we can do.
Still not sure what you need?
Describe the situation and we will tell you which test it calls for, what it costs and how quickly you can have it.
